I’m a New Orleans native with over twelve years of professional experience in UX writing, content design, marketing, and technical writing. I have had the privilege of working with so many talented artists, companies, nonprofits, and governmental organizations, using language to connect people through shared understanding. 

After nearly a decade teaching college writing, I chaired the English department at a middle school where I developed a writing curriculum for some of the most talented young creatives I have ever met (maybe I’m a little biased). 

In my free time, I write long-form fiction and poetry when I am not trudging through the bayou attempting to check some birds off of my life list.
